About the Awards
The Indian Pet Industry Awards were started in 2019 with the aim of celebrating the passion of the Industry in making pet care better and more accessible. The awards went to online mode in 2020 due to the pandemic with a pause in between, and are now back in full swing.
Pet Industry Awards 2026 is an initiative to reward brands for their commitment to pet care, innovation in products and services, and the work they have to done to make pet parenting a seamless experience. All stakeholders play an important role in creating a conducive ecosystem; the awards are designed to encourage them.
The Objective of the Awards
The objective of the awards is to recognize companies’ efforts to develop innovative products and services that bridge the gaps that exist in the pet market i.e pet food that addresses the nutritional needs of pets and goes beyond; accessories that are gentle on pets and comfortable to their liking, and technology that actually makes the pet business or pet parent’s journey smoother.
Judging Criteria
- Product and Service Innovation – Brands must reflect creative thinking to solve the problems that pets face in their lifetime and showcase product and service consistency.
- Fulfilling Marketing Gaps – Brands must showcase how they are bridging the gaps in the market with their products and services.
- Business Scalability – A business model that is replicable with the use of technology and systems to meet growing demands without compromising quality.
- Educating Pet Parents – Evaluation based on how brands are educating pet parents, besides selling their products and services.

Who can nominate for the Pet Industry Awards?
Anyone who believes they have made a significant contribution to the Indian Pet Industry during FY 2025–26 can submit a nomination.
How are the winners selected?
All nominations will be reviewed by an esteemed panel of industry experts and renowned leaders from across the country to ensure a fair and transparent judging process.
When will the winners be announced?
The winners will be officially announced during the Awards and Networking Cocktail Dinner event.
What can attendees expect at the networking cocktail dinner?
The evening will offer a relaxed and engaging atmosphere where industry professionals can connect, build partnerships, exchange ideas, and celebrate together.

How Many Awards Are Presented Across the Categories?
One award is presented in each category. The winner is selected based on the evaluation criteria specific to that category.
Does the person who nominates their company get free entry to the Gala Dinner?
No, only the winner will get a free entry. Rest, everyone has to pay the entry fee.
